Cheeses
Domestic and Imported Cheeses
The Frigo family passed down the art of cheese-making in the United States in the early 1900’s. Prior to that, five generations of the Frigo family were making cheeses in Dolo, Italy located 10 miles outside of Venice. The family made Asiago, Romano, Parmesan, and other Italian cheese for local trade or export from the first floor of their centuries old stone villa.
Frigo’s has the largest selection of cheeses in the Springfield area. Such as: Herb Roll, Asiago, Gorgonzola Dolce, Vincent Aged Gouda, Danish Bleu, 2yr Sharp Provolone, Imported Provolone, Homemade Hot and Sweet Cheese Balls, Italian Fontina, Locatelli Romano, Robiola, Pecorino Romano, Ricotta Salata, and many more! We provide a cheese and fruit platter for any occasion which includes three different types of cheeses and one spreadable cheese.
